Who is Crystal Prescott

Meet the owner

Crystal Prescott

Founder & Lead Instructor

I’m Crystal Prescott, owner and lead instructor at Haute Core Pilates in Paris, Texas. After 17 years as a dental hygienist, the physical strain on my neck and shoulders pushed me to search for a healthier way to move and care for my body. Rediscovering Pilates became a turning point. Pilates helped me rebuild strength, reduce pain, and reconnect with my body. Now I help others experience the same transformation. I’ve been active and drawn to fitness my entire life, but I’ve also struggled with weight gain, weight loss, and years of yo-yo dieting. While Pilates hasn’t been the “answer” to weight loss, it has been an incredible tool for building strength, maintaining muscle, and feeling more at home in my body. I’m originally from southern Arizona but have called Paris, Texas home since 2021, and I often say I wish we had moved here years ago. I’ve been married for 29 years, and I’m a mom of four and a proud Gigi to one sweet grandbaby. Now that my kids are older, family time has become even more meaningful whether we’re relaxing on the lake, playing games, or simply enjoying being together. Family is my purpose in life.

“The mind, when housed within a healthful body, possesses a glorious sense of power.” – Joseph Pilates
